D. Jason Childress

Jason Childress is a partner based in the firm’s Jackson, Mississippi office. Jason’s litigation practice focuses in the areas of insurance law and transportation law, providing service to his clients in the insurance, trucking, and railroad industry.

Jason is a co-author of Mississippi Insurance Law and Practice. He is also the author of two chapters in Jeffrey Jackson’s Mississippi Civil Procedure dealing with Jury Selection and Special Masters and the author of the “Railroad Litigation;” and “Insurance Law” sections of the Encyclopedia of Mississippi Law. Jason is an active member of the National Association of Railroad Trial Counsel and has presented topics to other railroad attorneys at numerous meetings.

In his free time, Jason enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, mountain biking, and playing tennis and is an active member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Brookhaven, Mississippi, where he plays bass on the praise team.
