Bliss A. Peterson

Bliss Peterson (formerly Baldwin) joined Fletcher & Sippel in August of 2024. Bliss began her practice in employment law and railroad litigation in the Minneapolis office of Oppenheimer, Wolff & Donnelly in 1997, working with Jim Fletcher, Jim Helenhouse, and then-client Janet Gilbert – each to become attorneys at Fletcher & Sippel themselves – representing short line railroad clients primarily in FELA, crossing accident, and derailment litigation matters in state and federal courts. Bliss moved to Atlanta in late 2002, continuing to practice insurance defense litigation at Kasowitz, Benson, Torres & Friedman. She stepped away from her practice to raise four boys while working as Administrator for Full Service Railroad Consulting, a forensic consulting firm serving the railroad industry. Bliss is pleased to be returning to practice with former colleagues, continuing to assist railroad clients with employment and litigation issues.
