Ray A. Young, Jr.
Ray Young leverages a wealth of litigation experience in state and federal courts. He specializes in employment law, including Title VII, ADEA, FLSA, EPA, FMLA, ADA, FRSA, and applicable regulations of the FRA. Along with his employment practice, Ray also litigates actions filed under the Federal Employers Liability Act. In addition to litigation, Ray regularly advises clients on employee handbooks and policies, hiring and termination practices, employee benefits, investigations, whistleblower complaints, and various other employment issues that arise in day-to-day human resource administration.
Ray also has experience handling matters of insurance defense and coverage, transportation and logistics, business immigration, zoning and municipal governmental affairs, and general commercial disputes.
During law school Ray externed for the Honorable Daniel P. Jordan of the U.S. District Court of Southern District of Mississippi, and later served a two-year term as a federal law clerk to the Honorable Sharion Aycock, U.S. District Judge for the Northern District of Mississippi. Ray also worked as a judicial extern to Justice Dawn Beam of the Mississippi Supreme Court.
In his free time, Ray enjoys traveling the world with his wife and son.
